We offer academic tutoring for all K-12 subjects. Our educators can work closely with your child’s teacher to supplement, clarify, and enhance your child’s in-school learning.
Teachers certified in Students with Disabilities can provide individualized instruction, while attending to your child’s IEP. We understand that traditional classroom instructional techniques are often ill-suited to meet the needs of tactile, kinesthetic, or auditory learners. Our approach incorporates technology, movement, and hands-on activities to keep learners engaged and highly motivated. We strive to build confidence, self-efficacy, and independence while laying the foundation for life-long learning.
Four or six week packages are recommended for SSAT, SAT, High School Entrance Exam, and NYS Regents preparation. Tutors will meet with students in-person or online once-a-week for four to six weeks. Our educators use test-prep materials designed to maximize score improvement. In between sessions, our students receive daily independent practice and feedback based upon their individual performance.
"Caroline was an amazing tutor who surpassed my expectations in preparing my son for his SAT Literature Subject test. Many people had told me that this particular was not something you could be "tutored" for, but Caroline patiently reviewed sample tests and emphasized the nuances of literature that helped him prepare-and had excellent results. I highly recommend Caroline as a tutor."
